It has been a long time but the Fitbit Versa 2, which costs 180 US dollars on Best Buy, is still beloved with its really long-lasting battery. After around a month of wearing the Versa 2, there will be some points that may make you love this device, including a bright AMOLED screen as well as great fitness tracking features. But of course, there are still some downsides.
The original Fitbit Versa is beloved as it was the best option for fitness tracker and smartwatch that you can purchase for less than 200 US dollars. But after this device, the Samsung’s Galaxy Watch Active 2, which was released one year after, comes with a sleeker design. Or the Garmin’s watches are integrated with GPS and many features for health and the Apple Watch Series is now at the same price of 200 US dollars.
In comparison with the Apple Watch, on the Versa 2, you are provided with the benefits of an integrated sleep tracking which is rather good, along with compatibility throughout both Android and iOS. However, there is no GPS connectivity.
The Apple Watch, costing 400 US dollars at Apple, is slick and more beautiful. But the Fitbit Versa 2 also tried its best to keep up with that but it is also just fine for daily use. Wearing a Fitbit Versa 2 next to the Apple Watch Series 5, you may be mistaken for the other from a casual distance.
The Versa 2 provides a comfortable feeling, in spite of the fact that its straps are still difficult to attach. The fitness watch faces have enough stats to be useful but changing faces asks you to load them up from the phone app, which is inconvenient.
A faster processer means scrolling apps or checking notifications or viewing a daily fitness stat will be smoother. It is not as smooth as Apple Watch Series but it is better than before. One big upgrade over the first version is the color AMOLED display. Text is bright enough to view outdoors, in spite of the fact that the always-on display would be too bright.
